Who we are

Home> Introduction> Who we are

  • If we give hope to children with dreams and talents, they will in turn become individuals who give hope to society, thereby making the world a friendlier place. KJ Foundation strongly believes that hope given will be returned.

  • KJ scholarship student 20-year-old student Eunji
  • While her friends were enthusiastically following idols, Eunji fell deeply in love with sound. Having learned Korean folk dance and Korean folk music since she was eight, she was determined to dedicate her life to folk singing as she entered junior high school. Although she was unable to afford lessons because of her family’s financial situation, she was able to continue folk singing through high school, subsequent to acceptance at the Korean Folk Music school on a full scholarship. However, college tuition was another barrier to overcome. Had it not been for funding by the Foundation, we might not have seen the folk singer she is today.
